Trudy, Trudy, Trudy,
The San Francisco Ballet was in town. I went, in the company of our favorite balletomane, James D. The S.F. was lovely, lovely, lovely. The boys were lovely, lovely, lovely. But the highlight of the evening was a confection entitled "Quartette," which was choreographed to some of the delightful piano works of Dvorak. Four ladies danced with superlative technique and unparalleled beauty and my heart - which has been somewhat heavy of late, lightened. There is little to say except it was all well done and exceeding excellent.
